Yes Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman can and will talk smack with the best of them. He ain’t shy; he tells people what he thinks. And it’s clear he thinks he is a better corner right now than Darrelle Revis, having gotten into a Twitter battle with the New York Jets star last month.

On Thursday Sherman gave us another great show — and on live TV, no less. While appearing on ESPN’s “First Take” with Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith, Bayless ask Sherman if he was better than Revis.

Then Bayless called Sherman’s prowess into question, even though the Seahawks star made eight interceptions, defended 24 passes, forced three fumbles and was named to the NFL All-Pro first team after the 2012 season — a season Revis sat out due to injury.

It appears that, over the past few months, Sherman hasn’t exactly taken a liking to Bayless.

“In my 24 years of life, I’m better at life than you,” Sherman told Bayless. “It’s not personal, this is résumé. I’m better than you.”

And Sherman didn’t stop there. He went on to tell Bayless exactly want he thought of him.

“I am intelligent enough, capable enough, to understand that you are an ignorant, pompous, egotistical cretin,” Sherman told Bayless. “And that’s what it comes down to. And I’m going to crush you on here, in front of everybody, because I’m tired of hearing about it.”

I would definitely call that a 10-8 round for Sherman. But the best part of the whole thing is, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Stephen A. Smith so quiet. I have to admit, I really like that part.
