DESEAN JACKSON: DARRELLE REVIS CAN’T RUN WITH ME - Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson said he loves a challenge, and he knows he’ll get one from Buccaneers cornerback Darrelle Revis on Sunday. But Jackson said he’ll be ready.“I don’t think he can run with me. I don’t think he’s as fast as me,” Jackson said. “It’ll be a challenge. He’s a great player, nothing to take away from him, but I’m just focused on what we have to do here, which is win a football game.”Perhaps Jackson realized that he might be providing locker room fodder for Revis because he quickly changed gears from his earlier comment, saying: “We’re not going to make it into a 1-on-1 battle, me vs. Revis. It’s the Eagles vs. Tampa Bay. At the end of that game, as long as we’re winning, that’s all that matters to me.”Jackson did get in this one last shot, though.“The last time I played him, he’s like, ‘Man, you’re too fast, slow down,’ Jackson said of the 2011 meeting against the Jets, Revis’ last team. “It’s little things like that. I’m going to stride him, put my speed on him and stress him out as much as I can.”In that game, Jackson had two catches for 28 yards in the Eagles’ 45-19 win.Eagles offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur said they won’t shy away from going at Revis.“We’re going to go through our progressions and we’re going to play the game,” Shurmur said. “And there will be times when we’re going his way, and there will be times when we’re not. That’s just the way it works. We’ll see how it plays out.”
